Front Cover Story/Visual:
These days many teenagers are always on their
phones and constantly being stereotyped as forever on different forms of social
media. However, in our forever changing view of society, there is now a variety
of ways to study and revise wherever you are, at anytime! My Preliminary
Magazine Task is based on the Apps available that can help you revise, so
whilst are on the bus, going to bed or waiting for your appointment you can
revise!
My Idea of the front cover is to have a
Mid-Shot of a person holding up a Smart Phone, the phone is closer to the
camera and so of similar size to the head of the person. Displayed on the phone
are current Apps used to help with revision and research.
Target Audience:
The Target audience is of Sixth-Form age (16-18), with both a mixture
for both guys and girls encountering the struggles and stresses of school life,
deadlines, revision, exams and social life.
Mise-En-Scene Used:
The Actor in the Main Image will be dressed
appropriately in school uniform, the background or setting, calm or neutral,
possibly in a queue or library where it would be convenient to study.
Headline and Image Link:
The link between the Headline and Image is
that as the Headline is ‘S-TIPS’ S- short for Study, we have a title about
Colour
Scheme and Fonts:
I will be keeping the colour scheme mixed not necessarily aimed at either gender so that it will
attract a wider audience. However not a range of colours clashing on the same page.
As for the font used will not be sans serif as
cursive fonts can be harder and more difficult to read. Therefore, a serif font
will be used to make it easier to read.
Shots Used:
I will use, most likely a mid-shot, as this
will focus on the student but also on the apps on the phone, as it is a student
magazine informing students of how they could improve their school work, skills
and enhancing their knowledge.
